We'll be leaving on Thursday, August 12 at 7:00a for a day at Schlitterbahn Water Park in Kansas City, KS.  If you have a middle school or high school student that wants to join us for a day of water park fun...register them by Sunday, August 8.   Pick up a flyer for all the details and a registration envelope to get registered.  They're located at the Youth Ministry kiosk in the Atrium and upstairs at the Youth News Board.  Please return all envelopes to the secured lock box upstairs in the Activity Center.   You can contact Evan Stone or Austin Bazil with any questions about the trip. 	BACKPACK PROGRAM Contact:  Bryan Spale 476.7733 BACKPACK PROGRAM Thank you to everyone who helped with the backpack program last year.  Your donations of money and/or time helped feed 40 families at Norwood Park on the weekends throughout the school year.   We will pack and distribute the food again in the coming school year.  Bryan Spale will be in the Atrium on August 1 where you can sign up to pack food, transport totes, hand out backpacks at the school or donate money to the program.   It costs $200 a year or approximately $16 a month for one backpack.  So see Bryan or write on a Communication Card if you want to help out.  Thanks again!

	SONNY DAY CRAFTERS Contact:  Phylis Vosta 326.3511 SONNY DAY CRAFT MINISTRY Every month we help some of the residents at Lancaster Manor and Milder Manor with a craft project. The residents really look forward to this time of crafts and fellowship with us and especially love to see the little children who come to help.    If you’re interested in helping with this ministry please meet us every first and second Saturday of the month, or as much as you can, and bring your children, grandchildren and friends to help.  For more details on this ministry please contact Phylis.  Thank You! We’ve dedicated a bulletin board in the old foyer area for personal and community notices just like these.    If you’d like something posted on our “Community Bulletin Board” drop it off at the church office and we’ll post it for you.    * Just a reminder that all ministry publication pieces need to be dropped off at the church office as well. Once it has been approved we will post it in the designated areas.  Please do not put out flyers, brochures, or posters yourself, we ask that you drop them off at the church office.  Thank you.
