CHRIST IN YOUTH CONFERENCE
|
|
|
CIY CONFERENCE (current 8 - 12 grade students)
On a hillside thousands
of years ago, a Rabbi spoke words that are still as radical today as they were the day they were delivered. Be perfect. Love
your enemies. The meek will rule the world. These red letter words demand everything. And each was lived out to perfection
by the Rabbi himself.
But what if these words
weren't just clever maxims but the calling cards of kingdom workers? MOVE 2012 will bring the Sermon on the Mount to life
and examine these words that changed everything. It's where the Rabbi becomes a king. It's where his followers become new
people. It's where heaven and earth collide.
You can pick up a packet
upstairs at the Youth News Board, at the Youth Ministry kiosk in the Atrium. Online registration and payment are also available for this event through Access ACS.
*Registration must be paid
in full by May 6 or there is a $60 fee.
July 23 - 28, 2012 (Leaving at 7:00a and Returning
at 3:00p)

MONTHLY MISSION(S) EMPHASIS
|
|
|
February 2012 ...
Each month the Mission Team emphasizes a different ministry that can help
the congregation get involved in areas outside our church. Please stop by the
Mission Kiosk in the Atrium for more details on this month's mission. You may also go to our Mission's Ministry Webpage to learn more about this month's mission as well as the other missions we support.
We
will be sending our support at the end of the month so if you would like to give a special donation to this effort please
designate that in the offering. When we share to help others God uses our generosity
to break down barriers between people and cultures so that His love can shine through.
May our response help minister to people in need.
This month's mission(s) emphasis is:
Livingstone University - Roger & Joey Fletcher
Good News Productions
Location: Missions Kiosk, Atrium
