BILL THORNTON, SENIOR MINISTER
|
|
|
Growing up in a Christian home, Bill became a Christian at
an early age. He received a B.A. from Manhattan Christian College, Manhattan, KS and a Masters in Counseling from Creighton
University in Omaha. Since September 1982, he has served in various capacities at CCCC. In June 1995, he was called to serve
as Senior Minister. Bill and his wife Marcia have four children, Tami, Jenny, Mark and Matthew, a son-in-law, John and four
grandsons.

RUSTY MILLER, DIRECTOR OF MINISTRIES
|
|
|
Rusty’s desire to serve Christ began shortly after his
personal conversion as a teenager in Rapid City, SD. He earned an associate degree from Dakota Bible College and a BA in Pastoral
Ministries from Nebraska Christian College. He joined our staff in July 1986 as Director of Student Ministries; became the
Director of Adult Ministries and Small Groups in 1998; and in 2006, Rusty became the Director of Ministries helping to oversee
all ministries. He and his wife Connie are the parents of Kayla, Jayme and Austin.

TODD GROVE, DIRECTOR OF WORSHIP & MUSIC
|
|
|
Todd earned his B.S. in Agronomy from North Dakota State University
in Fargo and has taken graduate work at Pacific Christian College and the International School of Theology in California.
Before joining our staff in 1995, he traveled with the Continental Singers and served the Crossroads Christian Church in Corona,
CA. He and his wife Karen are the parents of Tyler and Ajana.

AUSTIN BAZIL, DIRECTOR OF YOUTH MINISTRIES
|
|
|
Austin accepted Christ at the age of 18 and decided to attend
Manhattan Christian College where he received a B.A. in Pastoral Ministries, with a minor in Youth Ministries. Since the summer
of 1994 he has been involved in various student internships, and weekend youth ministries until he accepted a position at
Northland Christian Church in 1998. Austin joined the CCCC staff in October of 2001. He and his wife Amanda have three
sons—Pierce, Porter and Cole.

JOY BLYTHE, DIRECTOR OF CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES
|
|
|
Joy has served in the area of CE for many years. She has worked
with all ages and has experience in teaching SS and VBS, directing youth and children’s music and drama productions,
and leading recreation and special events. She earned her B.S. in Education from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1992.
Joy joined the CCCC staff in November of 1996 and became Director of Children’s Ministries in September of 1999. Joy
and her husband David have 2 children, Nicole and Kyle, and a son-in-law, Ryan.

LAYNE ROLOFSON, DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATION
|
|
|
Layne has been a member of CCCC since 1980. He and his wife
Jeanette, along with their daughters Megan, Sarah, Jelayna and Chelsea, have long been involved with the life of the church.
Layne taught high school classes, served as chairman of the deacons, and as an elder for a 3-year term. Layne earned his B.S.
in Agronomy/Mechanized Agriculture from UNL in 1980. He was a partner in a farming corporation for 20 years before joining
the CCCC staff in April of 2001.
